Dustin Roberts oversees departmental operations and logistics. He coordinates the collection and review of required curriculum-related instructor submissions and supports a vast array of program initiatives to ensure a high-quality course experience. He is responsible for documenting program effectiveness, identifying improvement strategies, and ensuring instructor and department compliance with university policies. He manages administrative functions related to developing the UNIV course schedule, facilities management, IT, service to other campus units, and event management by supervising the administrative support team. He supports all functional areas, including Faculty Development, Resources, Campus Partnerships, and Peer Leadership.
Dustin is the primary contact for University 101 syllabus review and the University 101 scholarship.
Dustin also serves as an instructor for the leadership development course, EDLP 520: The Teacher as Manager, as well as the first-year seminar, UNIV 101: The Student in the University.
Prior to coming to University 101 Programs, Dustin served as the Assistant Director for the First-Year Experience at the College of Charleston. In this role, he oversaw areas of logistics and enrollment/registration and coordinated student intervention/support, assessment, experiential learning, and peer education. He previously served as the Area Coordinator for first-year student housing and residence life at the Georgia Southern University – Armstrong Campus.
