On October 6, the Office of the Vice President for Research hosted our first panel discussion event, Artificial Intelligence: Game Changer or Game Over?. Through this special conversation, UofSC faculty researchers from a wide variety of disciplines talked over the ethical and societal implications surrounding the rise of artificial intelligence in many facets of modern life. The evening was a smashing success marked by thoughtful, forward-looking discourse, challenging and astute audience questions and palpable excitement about the subject and the speakers.

Our office would like to thank our outstanding panelists Forest Agostinelli, Orgul Ozturk, Jane Roberts and Bryant Walker Smith.
