The Office of the Vice President for Research is pleased to coordinate an internal funding competition to allocate South Carolina Lottery dollars the university has received to invest in cutting-edge research equipment. The purpose of this research equipment investment is to enhance UofSC’s shared research infrastructure and expand opportunities for interdisciplinary research.

This unique opportunity will help faculty researchers on the USC Columbia campus obtain capital equipment that can be hard to fund through traditional grants and funding sources. The office anticipates selecting one project for funding up to $462,486.
