Graduate students, register today for the Grant Writing Basics Workshop

The Office of the Vice President for Research is pleased to invite graduate students and postdoctoral scholars to a special Grant Writing Basics Workshop on Thursday, September 29, at 1:00 p.m. in the Russell House Theater.

This comprehensive workshop is designed to prepare graduate students and postdocs to write competitive grant proposals. The session will cover strategies for grant writing success and provide guidance on how to develop a grant budget and justification. In addition, a panel of past SPARC faculty reviewers will discuss the proposal review process from the perspective of the reviewer.

The Grant Writing Basics Workshop will be offered on Thursday, September 29, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., in the Russell House Theater. Registration for this workshop is encouraged but not required. By registering ahead of time, attendees ensure they will receive content updates, and enjoy a streamlined sign-in process at the workshop. If you register for the workshop, but are later unable to attend, you do not need to notify the Office of the Vice President Research that you won't be attending.
