The Office of the Vice President for Research is pleased to invite all undergraduate students working on research projects with USC faculty this summer to participate in the 2016 Summer Research Symposium on Thursday, July 28, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the USC Alumni Center in the Main Ballroom.
This student-focused symposium will showcase the work of 88 undergraduate students, representing 38 colleges and universities who will present the results of their summer research projects. All featured students spent their summer conducting research projects with USC faculty, many as participants in USC's summer research programs. Represented programs include the S.C. Alliance for Minority Participation summer program, Center for Colon Cancer Research Summer Undergraduate Minority Research Program, the S.C. Advancing Diversity in Aging Research Program and three Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) programs in Physics and Astronomy, Chemical Engineering and Radioecology. No registration is required for guests who will not be presenting. Students who will be presenting a poster may download/print a coupon [pdf] for 10 percent off printing costs from USC Printing Services. Poster display boards and refreshments will be provided.
