The College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management is pleased to invite faculty, staff, students and community members to a unique forum focused on tourism innovation and entrepreneurship  being held on  August 2-4, 2015 in Columbia, SC.

Due to the generous sponsorship of Marriott, we are able to offer FREE registrations to  this upcoming event with evening cocktail hours around town and lunches in the 365-degree rotating restaurant at the top of Capstone, all sponsored by USC, the University of Aruba, and Marriott International. Overview: This forum provides interesting presentations by a number of international speakers/leaders as well as local innovators, exploring cutting edge technologies and generating in-depth discussions of the role of entrepreneurship and innovation within the tourism and hospitality industry in the Caribbean, the Americas and globally. Held in partnership with the University of Aruba.

Keynote: The opening keynote speaker, Matthew Von Ertfelda, and is in charge of innovation for Marriott worldwide, and interestingly enough, came in second on “Survivor: Amazon” – sounds like he might be a runner-up for The Most Interesting Man in the World.
