The Transfer Student Success Team is committed to:
- Helping transfer students feel connected and welcomed at USC.
- Serving as a bridge for transfer students to ease their transition and help navigate USC.
- Making transfer students aware of resources available to them.
- Supporting transfer students in their pursuit of academic success, including developing positive relationships with their academic advisor and faculty.
- Boosting awareness of health and wellness resources with transfer students.
- Supporting and celebrating transfer progress toward degree completion.
- Encouraging transfer students to engage in high-impact practices through the Center for Integrative and Experiential Learning and explore the option of Graduation with Leadership Distinction.
- Assisting transfer students in development of social connection to other transfer students through Tau Sigma and the Association of Transfer Students.
- Supporting the growth and development of two registered student organizations focused on transfers students: the Association of Transfer Students and Tau Sigma National Honor Society.
