The lab of Jeff Twiss was awarded a $600,000 grant from Craig H. Nielsen Foundation’s SCIRTS program. The Spinal Cord Injury Research on the Translational Spectrum (SCIRTS) portfolio supports research to improve the understanding of traumatic spinal cord injury and develop new approaches to alleviate the dysfunction and complications that follow. This 3 year Senior Grant Award is a collaboration with Drs. Jennifer Dulin and Daniel Alge at Texas A&M University. The work will focus on developing a new therapeutic strategy for motor axon regeneration after spinal cord injury. Comgrats!
