Congratulations to Drs. David Wethey, Jerry Hilbish, and Sally Woodin who received a 3 year grant award from NASA for $382,180. Their proposed project entitled "ECOSTRESS- Heat and Desiccation Risk Prediction in Intertidal Shellfisheries” aims to better quantify and predict heat and desiccation stress at scale relevant to farmers, knowing that timing of stress varies with site, phase of the moon, weather, and shore level.
