Congratulations to Lindsey Schwartz on her award - a Smithsonian Institute predoctoral fellowship at the Museum of Natural History for part of her dissertation research in Biological Sciences with Dr. Jerry Hilbish.  She will be in residence at the Museum for all of next year.  She will focus on physiology and transcriptomics, following up on field work from this summer in England.

Through the Smithsonian Institution Fellowship Program, fellowship awards are offered to provide opportunities for graduate students, predoctoral students, and postdoctoral and senior investigators to conduct research in association with members of the Smithsonian professional research staff, and to utilize the resources of SI. They are key to the Smithsonian’s aspiration to discover, create, innovate and diversify.
