Bio

Originally from Dayton, OH, I am currently an Associate Professor of Political Science at USC Lancaster.  I completed my Ph.D. at USC Columbia in 2003 & have taught Political Science at USCL since 2008.  Courses I have offered include the following:  American National Government (POLI 201); U.S. Foreign Policy (POLI 340); State Government (POLI 365); Interest Groups & Social Movements (POLI 368); The American Chief Executive (POLI 463); and Psychology & Politics (POLI 465). My research interests include the politics of U.S. foreign policy advisory systems, the political psychology of U.S. foreign policy officials, and U.S. foreign policy decision-making during the Cold War.
