The University of South Carolina Lancaster’s collections and galleries support regional and national artists through outreach, exhibits, and residence opportunities. Since 1990, the campus has hosted exhibits from regional and national sources highlighting topics of interest to our faculty, students, and community. Until 2012, these exhibits were held in a single gallery on campus and have grown into nine galleries across campus and downtown Lancaster, SC. These exhibits focus on a variety of topics and offer grant, research, and juried opportunities for artists. These scholarly exhibits and projects have been a catalyst in the growth of our campus art collections since 2006.
