Amber Fallucca has been selected to serve as the inaugural director of the Carolina Experience for the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support. 

With a wealth of experience in student engagement and experiential learning, Fallucca will play a pivotal role in working across the USC campus to ensure students have greater access to the resources and support they need to embark on their professional journeys before and after graduation.

“I am excited to help usher in this new campus initiative that will strategically focus on a quality four-year experience through peer mentorship, resource alignment, and career and life readiness,” Fallucca says. “What an exciting time to be a Gamecock!”

Fallucca has been a member of the USC community for 17 years. Her prior leadership roles include serving as the director of assessment for University Housing, director of the university's Quality Enhancement Plan and associate director in the Center for Integrative and Experiential Learning. She is an affiliate faculty member in the College of Education and the Department of Leadership, Learning Design and Inquiry. 

Fallucca earned a doctorate in higher education administration from the University of South Carolina, a master’s degree in exercise and sport sciences from the University of Florida and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the College of Charleston.
