Humanities and social sciences researchers: The Humanities Collaborative may offer technical support for your digital projects

The Humanities Collaborative at UofSC will sponsor a working group committed to the digital humanities that could provide technical support for your project in the coming academic year. The working group aims to support humanists, librarians and graduate students with curiosity, interests, plans or projects related to computational work in the social sciences and humanities. If you have a digital humanities project or even an idea that needs technical support during the next academic year, please complete this brief survey to let the the Humanities Collaborative know. The working group is co-organized by Kate Boyd (boydkf@mailbox.sc.edu) and Jeanne Britton (jbritton@mailbox.sc.edu).

Office of the Vice President for Research seeks input on future workshops

With the summer months comes time for planning, and the Office of the Vice President for Research is busy planning new programming for faculty researchers next academic year. One program we plan to offer in the coming months is a series of 90-minute workshops on the fundamentals of successfully applying for research funding from specific federal agencies. To help us identify the agencies most in-demand by faculty, we invite all UofSC faculty researchers to provide input via our 2022-2023 Short Workshops Interest Form.
