Graduate students at USC are not automatically granted on-campus housing and must
begin planning their living arrangements before arriving in the U.S. In addition to
these helpful housing resources, the IAP is happy to assist in the search, from connecting
you with knowledgeable students and local landlords to advising you about housing
locations. Some USC Housing may be available for graduate students; please fill out
the form.
Off-Campus Living and Neighborhood Relations at USC provides support and information about living off campus, including details
about available rentals in Columbia and the surrounding area.
Garnet Living is a searchable that compares housing options by filtering price, number of bedrooms, amenities and more.
The Official Off-Campus Living Guide helps you determine your budget, learn about American roommate etiquette and determine what option is best for your needs.
Dining
Graduate students will not be automatically assigned a meal plan. Students can choose a mix of cooking in their off-campus residence, dining at area restaurants and/or purchasing a Commuter Meal Plan for Non-Resident students.
Graduate students may also dine at any of the 25+ on-campus dining locations and easily pay with cash or with a credit card.
Email admissions@uofsc.org with any housing or dining related questions.
