Advanced Master's Accelerator

Get the academic training you need to succeed in your graduate program. The Advanced Master’s Accelerator is a one-semester, pre-master’s program designed specifically for international students who are ready for immersive English-speaking classrooms.

As a student in the Advanced Master's Accelerator, you will:

One-year MBA

Program Details 

First-Year Program Length Program: 1 semester
Curriculum: Pre-set Curriculum
Credits Earned Toward Degrees: 0
Progression Requirements: 3.25 GPA with no grade lower than a B in academic coursework, completion of Statistics and Quantitative Methods course, successful completion of all MAP course content and approval from USC Accelerator Team.
Progression Into: One-year MBA

Entry Requirements

GPA Requirement: 3.0
Only one of the scores below required:

  • Minimum TOEFL®: 80 – no subscore below 18
  • Minimum IELTS™: 6.5 – no subscore below 6.0
  • GMAT: Not Required

Engineering Degrees

Program Details

Credits Earned Toward Degrees: 6
Progression Requirements: 

  • 3.0 GPA with no degree course grade lower than a B
  • Successful completion of English language courses, Professional Development and Analytical Skills workshops, seminars and modules.
  • Students must take the GRE with minimum scores of:
    Verbal: 150
    Quantitative: 153
    Composite: 305
    Analytical Writing: 3.0
  • Note: MS students must be accepted after interview with faculty thesis advisor

Progression Into: Master’s Degree
