Bio:

I am a first year M.A. student in the History of Science, Technology, and Environment. My main interest is in the integration of science and religion in late medieval through early modern Europe. During my degree I will be examining Paracelsus and his influence on occult medicine. Before completing my B.A. in History, I served five years in the Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. My senior thesis “Christian Kabbalah: Cornelius Agrippa’s Alternative to Early Modern Contemporary Christian Beliefs” was an analysis on Cornelius Agrippa’s De Occulta Philosophia and his interpretation of medieval and early modern kabbalistic philosophies.

My off-time interests include playing guitar, listening to heavy metal, going to the river walk, and exploring Columbia’s breweries.
