Geography professor recognized for his teaching
Congratulations to Conor M. Harrison, who has been announced as one of this year's winners of the Michael J. Mungo Undergraduate Teaching Award. Only four undergraduate Mungo awards are presented each year to South Carolina professors whose work is marked by innovation and commitment to good teaching.
After earning a Ph.D. in geography from the University of North Carolina in 2014 (where he'd also won a teaching award), Conor came to USC with a joint appointment in the Department of Geography and in the School of Earth, Ocean and Environment.
He joins two other geographers who have won this award: Amy Mills and Gregory Carbone.
