Rhude M. Patterson Trustee Fellowship goes to geography grad student
Geography master's student J. Brianna Ferguson was awarded one of the two Rhude M. Patterson Trustee Fellowships presented this year. The one-time $5000 award is presented to women doing graduate work in the humanities and the social sciences.
Rhude Meetze Patterson, who earned a master’s degree in psychology from the University of South Carolina in 1952, established the fellowship in 1983 out of concern that women were not receiving sufficient financial support for graduate studies.
Congratualtions to Bri on this big honor.
