The award supports research on agricultural soil salinization on the North Carolina coast

Geography graduate student Ellie Davis received the 2017 Kathryn D. Sullivan Earth and Marine Science Fellowship from the SC Space Grant Consortium and SC Sea Grant Consortium. The award will support Ellie's research and fieldwork on the remote sensing of agricultural soil salinization in the Albemarle-Pamlico Peninsula of North Carolina. Ellie is advised by Dr. Kirstin Dow and works with the Carolinas Integrated Sciences and Assessments team.
