Dawn Hiller launched into her academic journey at Newberry College, eventually transferring to the University of South Carolina, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in French, concurrently studying Piano Pedagogy. In 1995, after graduation, she embarked on a professional path, joining the academic sector as an Administrative Assistant, marking the beginning of a dedicated career in higher education. 

Currently, Dawn actively contributes to both the College of Arts and Sciences and the military community within the college. Additionally, her passion for the arts is evident through her involvement on the USC Dance Board. Outside of work, she finds fulfillment in domestic activities such as sewing and baking, serving as stress-relievers. 

Beyond professional and personal pursuits, Dawn is deeply engaged in community service as an active Sunday School teacher at the local Lutheran Church, catering to children ranging from 3 years old to 4th grade. Raised in a military background, she nurtures a love for travel and reading about diverse cultures, reflecting a well-rounded and dynamic personality.
