Housing and Dining

Off-Campus Living

Because graduate students atUofSC are not automatically granted on-campus housing, you must begin planning your living arrangements before arriving in the U.S. In addition to these helpful housing resources, we are happy to assist you in your search, from connecting you with knowledgeable students and local landlords to advising you about housing locations.

Off-Campus Living and Neighborhood Relations at UofSC provides support and information about living off campus, including details about available rentals in Columbia and the surrounding area.

MAP students are required to confirm their housing accommodation with IAP student services.

Please fill out this MAP housing confirmation form.

Park Place

One off-campus option for graduate students is Park Place, a USC student apartment complex located just a short distance from campus. Park Place features private apartments with either five, four, three, two or single private bedrooms, bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. Apartment complex residences usually include additional amenities such as entertainment and clubroom spaces, fitness centers and swimming pools on premise.

Note:  Park Place housing is limited and not guaranteed.

Dining

Graduate students will not be automatically assigned a meal plan. Students can choose a mix of cooking in their off-campus residence, dining at area restaurants and/or purchasing a Commuter Meal Plan for Non-Resident students.

Graduate students may also dine at any of the 25+ on-campus dining locations and easily pay with cash or with a credit card.
