HRSM Staff Council

The Staff Council's mission is to empower staff and enhance representation within the College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management with the goal of strengthening operations, fostering an environment of collegiality, and contributing to the mission and success of the college.

Staff Council Purpose

The College of HRSM Staff Council seeks to:

  • Create an open forum to facilitate communication among staff and college leadership.
  • Engage staff and share their interests and concerns with college leadership.
  • Explore solutions for more efficient and effective college operations.
  • Promote a positive college climate and strengthen the sense of community among staff.
  • Participate in service work that supports the college, University, and surrounding community.
  • Propose and support programs to enhance and encourage professional development.

Spring 2026 Meeting Dates

  • Jan. 21: 1-2 p.m.
  • Feb. 11: 2-3 p.m.
  • March 11: 2-3 p.m.
  • April 8: 2-3 p.m.
  • May 13: 2-3 p.m.
