Tobias Heinrich obtained his PhD from Rice University in 2013 and is currently an associate professor in the Department of Political Science. His research centers on the domestic politics of foreign policy, which has been published in The Journal of Politics, International Studies Quarterly, British Journal of Political Science, and Journal of Conflict Resolution. He teaches courses in international relations and statistical methodology.
