Biography:
Brittany Capps is a PhD Candidate in Composition and Rhetoric. She decided to pursue
a career in academia once she taught her first College Writing class at the University
of Massachusetts in Amherst, where she was getting her M.F.A. in poetry. Her research
interests include finding creative alternatives to FYC curricula, specifically those
with multi-modal components.
