Earth and Environment Resource Management
The School of the Earth, Ocean & Environment offers a Master of Earth & Environmental
Resources Management (MEERM) degree through a thesis or internship track, as well as dual MEERM & Juris Doctor (J.D.) degrees through a cooperative affiliation with the School of Law.
Geological Sciences
We offer Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Geological Sciences. Financial support is available to a number of students
each year in the form of instructional (IA) and research (RA) assistantships, the
Stephen F. Taber Fellowship, as well as external and university-wide fellowships.
Marine Sciences
We offer Ph.D. and M.S. degrees in Marine Science through the Marine Science program. The Marine Science
graduate program is designed to train scientists for careers in research, teaching
and scientific leadership in fields pertaining to Earth’s oceans.
Accelerated Master's Degree
This program offers exceptional undergraduate students the opportunity to earn a graduate degree in an accelerated timeline. You may apply for this program in the semester in which you reach 90 undergraduate credit hours.
