Bio
Dillon Ludemann (Ph.D., Binghamton University, 2022) is a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology. He is a linguistic anthropologist whose research interests are digital narrative, language ideology, and far-right political rhetoric on anonymous digital media platforms. His work examines the use of specialized ways of speaking on the anonymous imageboard website, 4chan, and how these ways of speaking reinforce inflammatory political discourse and notions of community on the website.
