I began my career in education in 2006, after I graduated with a bachelor's degree in history from Charleston Southern University. While working in various roles in education, I completed a Master's of Arts in Teaching from the College of Charleston and a Master's of Education in Interdisciplinary STEM Education. I served as a teacher in Hampton County, South Carolina where I realized that I enjoy helping students of all ages reach their potential.

My advice to students is to never give up! If things don't work out at first, give yourself grace, dust yourself off, and try again!
