- Click “Financial Aid” tab.
- Select Financial Aid
- Choose Financial Aid for Aid Year
- Select Campus (Continue)
- Select the appropriate academic year from the drop-down menu; submit.
- Select the Award Overview tab.
- Log in to my.sc.edu at https://my.sc.edu/.
- Click “Financial Aid” tab.
- Select Financial Aid
- Choose Financial Aid for Aid Year
- Select Campus (continue)
- Select the appropriate academic year from the drop-down menu; submit.
- Select the Accept Award Offer tab.
- Accept or decline awards as desired based on the available options
- Submit Decision
If you have been offered a LIFE Scholarship, Palmetto Fellows Scholarship or State Need-based Grant, take the following steps to complete the State Scholarship and Grant Affidavit.
- Log in to my.sc.edu at https://my.sc.edu.
- Choose “Financial Aid”, “Financial Aid”, and then “Financial Aid for Aid Year”.
- Choose “Terms and Conditions” to read the Affidavit Form.
- Check the box to indicate that you have read and accept the terms of the financial aid offer.
If you have been offered the South Carolina Lottery Tuition Assistance, take the following steps to complete the the Certification Form.
- Log in to my.sc.edu at https://my.sc.edu.
- Choose “Financial Aid”, “Financial Aid”, and then “Financial Aid for Aid Year”.
- Choose “Resources and Additional Information” to read the Certification Form.
- Check the box to indicate that you have read and accept the terms of the financial aid offer.
- Log in to my.sc.edu at https://my.sc.edu/.
- Click “Financial Aid” tab.
- Select Eligibility
- Choose Student Requirements in the Financial Aid section.
- Items “required” are outstanding and need to be completed; items “satisfied” are already complete. Blue links mean there is a document for you to download and complete or a website for you to complete additional steps.
- Log in to my.sc.edu at https://my.sc.edu/.
- Click “Financial Aid” tab.
- Select Financial Aid
- Choose Financial Aid for Aid Year
- Select Campus (Continue)
- Select the appropriate academic year from the drop-down menu; submit.
- Click the Award Overview tab.
- Click Print
- An identical window will open. Right click on the page in the new window. Select Print if a paper copy is needed.
- Log in to my.sc.edu at https://my.sc.edu/.
- Click “Financial Aid” tab.
- Select Eligibility
- Select Campus
- Select the appropriate academic year from the drop-down menu; submit.
- Select the Academic Progress tab
- Read the message and view the status.
Academic progress is reviewed annually. Learn more about Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
To sign up for Direct Deposit, take the following steps:
- Log into my.sc.edu.
- Click “Account Information” then “Sign Up for Direct Deposit” then “Electronic Refunds”.
- Click “Enroll in Two Step Verification” or “Complete Two Step Verification” and follow the instructions.
- Once you have verified your identity, click “Refunds” then “Set-up Account”.
If you do not sign up for Direct Deposit, you will receive a paper check mailed by the Business Office to either your local or permanent address as listed with university records on my.sc.edu. Be sure your address is up to date!
