The USC Fort Jackson Program is designed for and awards Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees to active-duty military personnel (all branches), their family members, Department of Defense civilian employees, National Guard members, reservists, and veterans. Civilians, including Columbia-campus students, are welcome to take courses on a space-available basis, but they may not earn these associate degrees.
A college degree is becoming essential both in the military and beyond. That’s one reason forward-looking, forward-thinking men and women are enrolling in degree programs at the University of South Carolina Fort Jackson. Our program offers immediate benefits—convenience, flexibility, and choice. The price is right, too, because in most cases the military picks up the majority of the tab for tuition and fees. That’s the smart way to earn your degree.
