Take control of your future with a degree in Organizational Leadership or Liberal Studies
The Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies (BLS) and Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership (BOL) provide flexible, interdisciplinary pathways tailored to a wide range of academic
backgrounds and career goals. The Liberal Studies program allows students to design
a personalized course of study that emphasizes critical thinking, communication, and
problem‑solving skills, while the Organizational Leadership program focuses on leadership,
organizational effectiveness, and applied professional skills relevant to today’s
workforce.
Students enroll through a Palmetto College campus and, once eligibility requirements are met, complete their upper‑level coursework
primarily online. Both programs are designed to support adult learners and returning
students while maintaining the academic quality and recognition of a University of South Carolina bachelor’s degree.
Admission to USC Columbia’s BA in Liberal Studies or Organizational Leadership requires a minimum of 45 college semester hours, among other standards. If you have not earned 45 hours, you will begin your enrollment through a Palmetto College campus and continue until you meet the minimum requirements. You may also have the option to earn your Associate’s degree along the way!
