The Office of Sustainability isn't the only organization that hosts sustainability events. Departments and organizations across campus put on sustainability-focused events throughout the year that cater to a wide range of interests and disciplines.

The Sustainable Carolina Garden produces organically grown foods while regenerating soil and building biodiversity. No pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers are used. Students sell these foods at the local farmers market and to USC's dining services. Surplus is given to volunteers and to local food pantries.

Undergraduate students in the Sustainable Carolina Leadership Program help solve real-world problems and impact change through hands-on experiences, leadership development and campuswide event planning.
We welcome members of the Carolina and Columbia community who want to attend our events and get involved with sustainability on campus.
