Student Health and Well-Being

Training and Advocacy

These programs teach you how to recognize and respond to the warning signs of suicide, hone your leadership skills as a mental health ambassador and even complete a certificate program to become a campus mental health advocate.

Grow Your Skills

Learn from mental health professionals and from each other in training programs that will develop your skills and teach you how to become more active in mental health issues on campus.

Faculty and Staff Training

Support Zone training is a 150-minute comprehensive training that includes suicide prevention and instruction on how to recognize and respond to signs of distress in students. The goal of this training is to engage faculty as mental health allies, share the basic components of suicide prevention, enhance knowledge of campus mental health resources, and demonstrate strategies for rapid assessment and referral of students in distress.
