Parking and Transportation Services

Parking

All rules and regulations are subject to enforcement 24 hours a day, 7 days a week including break periods and holidays.

Welcome New Students

Welcome to USC!  Here are the things you need to know about parking and transportation on the Columbia campus.

Parking Regulations

Avoid tickets and towing by understanding and following USC'S parking regulations.

Visitor/Hourly Parking

Visitors can use our campus parking locations or take advantage of city spots located near your destination.

Parking Permits

All vehicles parked on the Columbia campus require a parking permit.  We are here to help you decide which option is best for you.

All Parking Areas

You can park in one of five different types of parking areas:
Student, Faculty/Staff, Reserved, Any Decal and Visitor/Hourly. Make sure your permit is displayed correctly and corresponds to the appropriate parking area.

Bicycle Registration

Any bike parked on campus must be registered at no cost. Identification decals come with registration to discourage theft and help recover the bike if it's stolen. Bicycle registration is open to all students, faculty and staff.

Special Event Parking

Whether your department is hosting a special event or you're a Facilities project manager scheduling  a contractor, you'll need to submit a request for parking at least one week in advance.
