Who It's For
The session works best when it's with people who work in the same area, or in shared processes, or in the same programs or initiatives.
Focusing on Real Improvement
One or two improvement priorities are identified before the session. During the session, participants learn important improvement concepts, methods, and tools – and immediately apply what they've learned to an actual improvement effort. They continue and complete their improvement work after the session so that real results are achieved.
Tailored Content
Session content emphasizes process improvement or resource optimization, depending on the improvement priorities identified in advance of the session. (For example, if the plan is to look at one or two processes that need to be simplified, the session focuses on process improvement. If the aim is to ensure coordination and a more effective use of resources, the session centers on resource optimization.)
Format
• The workshop can be tailored for 1.5 to 3 hours.
• More time allows for more practical application and progress.
• An in-person format is preferred to ensure more interaction.
