Eligibility: The Dobson Volunteer Service Program at the University of South Carolina provides funding support for students, faculty
and staff members to engage in direct service activities, both locally and abroad.
Emphasis is placed on depth of service commitment, and the impact it might have on
individual spiritual development through the service experience.

What the grant is for: The Maxcy Travel Grant is a competitive financial award to be used to help fund a study abroad experience for undergraduate students who are current or past residents of the International House at Maxcy College. Award amounts range from $500-$1000.
Deadline:
· October 15th for Winter Break, Fall Break, or Spring programs.
· **EXTENDED DEADLINE** April 30th for Maymester, Summer, Fall or Academic Year programs.
You can apply for the award multiple terms; however, you can only receive the award once. You cannot defer the award; it must be used for the term listed on your application.
Student eligibility requirements: In order to be considered for a Maxcy Travel Grant, an applicant must:
· Be a full time, undergraduate UofSC student
· Be a current or past resident of the International House at Maxcy College
· Be in the process of applying, or have already applied to, an approved UofSC study abroad program
· Be earning at least twelve credits (during the semester) or three credits (in summer) for his/her study abroad experience
Grant disbursement: This is a competitive grant, and you will receive notification of your award within a few weeks of the application deadline.

Moore School Global Classroom Scholarships are various named awards of $1000-$5000 provided to support Moore School students participating in Spring Term — Break or Maymester Global Classrooms. Students will be selected based on demonstrated merit in the classroom, financial need, compelling essays, locations of intended study, and in some instances, residency. There is one application for interested students with two deadlines:
- Spring Term — Break Deadline: November 6, 2022 by 11:59 p.m.
- Maymester Deadline: February 12,2023 by 11:59 p.m.
In order to be considered for a Moore School Global Classroom Scholarship, an applicant must:
- Be a full-time, undergraduate student in the Darla Moore School of Business
- Be in the process of applying or have already applied to a Moore School Maymester Global Classroom
- Be in good academic standing with a minimum 3.0 GPA and at least 30 credit hours
