Research and Teaching Interests
Dr. Friedman's interdisciplinary and partner-engaged research is focused on health and risk communication with older and diverse populations. She evaluates how communities access, understand and use disease risk and prevention information. She then develops and implements innovative strategies for communicating evidence-based and culturally appropriate messages with multiple audiences and partner organizations.
