Red Fish


Background of painting is bright red. The foreground features the outline of a fish’s body in dark blue, overlaid with a thin line of white paint. The fish’s face is outlined in light blue, eye is black, yellow, and light blue. There is black sponging around the outline of the fish’s body to create shadowing. The artist’s signature is in black paint/ink at the lower left corner of the painting. The canvas is held within a black wooden frame with gold edges.
