University-wide Student Organizations

The University of South Carolina offers a variety of student clubs and organizations, which reflects the diverse backgrounds and perspectives of our student body. These groups not only provide an opportunity to explore leadership and community engagement, but also offer a supportive environment to do so. With over 500 student organizations available, ranging from Greek life, honor societies, and sports teams to government associations, professional development, political engagement, and cultural pride, there's something for everyone. Global Studies Student Association (GSSA)

The Global Studies Student Association (GSSA) is open to all students, regardless of major, who are interested in cross-cultural understanding and area studies. GSSA aims to connect student interests to campus resources related to global topics and Columbia's international community. Connect with GSSA!

Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS)

WiCyS is a global community that fosters the passion and drive of women in cybersecurity. The community unites aspiring and established professionals through collaboration, knowledge sharing, networking, and mentorship, and offers opportunities for professional development through programs, conferences, and career fairs.
