Research Interests
My art practice examines, analyzes, and critiques the accuracy in which we understand the world around us. I am interested in both the internal ways we use our senses and memory to navigate the world, and the external methods we use such as tools and technologies. Particularly where these ways of perceiving or understanding experience fall short, or what I deem as ‘inaccurate’ is what I am concerned with as an artist. By addressing the issues surrounding the technologies that dictate our understanding of the world I seek to better understand how this molds the comprehension of experience.
