Biography

Zihuan Feng is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Political Science at the University of South Carolina. Her research focuses on state repression and political violence, with an emphasis on the strategic interactions among political actors and underlying causal mechanisms. She received her MA in International Relations from Seoul National University and her BA from Sun Yat-sen University. Prior to beginning her doctoral studies, she worked for several years as a research assistant at the School of Social Science, Tsinghua University.
