Background & Duties

Jessica Hibshman worked for 15 years as a Customer Service Manager at Publix Super Markets, Inc. before starting her new career at University of South Carolina in 2021 with the Religious Studies and Philosophy Departments.

As the Business Office Manager, Jessica plans, coordinates, and performs administrative and budget management duties for the department. Jessica is responsible for all the preparation and submission of all department human resources, financial and travel-related documentation. Jessica also assists the chair in the daily operations of the department.

Jessica loves spending time with her family and friends. Jessica’s husband Kenneth is an army veteran. Jessica’s son, Jordan, is a high school junior and is quite accomplished on his varsity wrestling team.
