Training Description

This training will address the prevalence of incarceration of youth for status offenses in South Carolina; the harms associated with incarcerating youth for status offenses; recent updates to the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act (JJDPA) specific to status offense incarceration; and recommended community-based practices as alternatives to secure confinement.

 

This training will be offered on a virtual platform. Links will be sent near the date of the training.
