Welcome to the Bursar's Office at
the University of South Carolina

The Bursar's Office provides financial services support to students, parents, faculty, staff, deans, department heads and the administration. The office functions primarily as the official depository of all university funds and is responsible for receipting and disbursing all funds, which includes the assessment and collection of tuition and fees.

MULTIFACTOR AUTHENTICATION

ATTENTION STUDENTS:
Effective Immediately: Protecting your personal data is important to us. To continue to do so, the University of South Carolina is moving to a new system that will require you to complete a two-step verification process called "multifactor authentication" before you can log in to a university system, such as my.sc.edu.

You MUST complete this verification process before you can access and/or pay your bill.
Click here to access the Division of Information Technology webpage that provides additional information about Multifactor Authentication and a video overview of the set up process.

ATTENTION PARENTS & AUTHORIZED USERS:
As a result of the multifactor authentication requirement, use of the student credentials by anyone other than the student, will no longer be an option for accessing the student account.
If you ARE an Authorized User, you must login through the my.sc.edu site in order to access the student account information, make a payment, etc. - click here.

If you are NOT an Authorized User, you must be set up by the student through their Self Service Carolina account.

Students

Our goal is to make paying for your education as simple as possible. This web site provides important information that will help you through this step.

The University of South Carolina requires all students to review, understand, and adhere to university regulations, procedures, requirements, and deadlines as described in all official University publications. The Statement of Financial Responsibility is maintained in SSC under the Student Tab or the Account Information Tab.  An acknowledgement of the statement is required to proceed through the course registration process.
