Training Description | A child abuse pediatrics medical expert will cover an array of medical aspects of child physical abuse beginning with the identification of red flags and the important role that the history provided by the caregiver plays. The presentation will comprehensively cover bruises, burns, bites, and fractures, and characteristics of each that can assist in the determination of whether they were accidentally or intentionally inflicted. Finally, the presentation will provide a better understanding of how the forensic pediatrics medical expert can assist in a child physical abuse investigation. |
