Training Description | The Red Book Training is the National Association of Counsel’s signature training for lawyers, primarily designed to provide a comprehensive overview of child welfare law and practice. The training also serves to assist attorneys in preparing for the Child Welfare Law Specialist (CWLS) certification exam. The training is based on the 4th edition of Child Welfare Law and Practice: Representing Children, Parents, and State Agencies in Abuse, Neglect, and Dependency Cases – more commonly known as the Red Book. This onsite Red Book Training is aimed to help South Carolina attorneys improve their practice, strengthen delivery of legal services to children, youth, and families and to ensure high-quality legal representation. This training is an indispensable asset to all attorneys aiming to improve their knowledge and elevate their practice. The training will cover the major dependency practice competency areas and will also include exam preparation strategies and tools. |
