Training NameInvestigative interviewing in Child Death Investigations: A Simulation Training
Training DescriptionThis training will focus on investigative interviews during the child death investigation. Topics will include the purpose of an investigative interview, effective techniques that can be used to ascertain pertinent information related to the death investigation, and the importance of utilizing children’s advocacy centers for interviewing child witnesses involved in the investigation. Additionally, this training will include an opportunity for trainees to participate in mock interviews related to a child death scenario.
