| Training Description | Overview: This training focuses on the legal and practical aspects of taking youth into emergency protective custody. Trainees will learn about legal standards and procedures as well as the roles of law enforcement and the Department of Social Services, in the EPC process. Trainees will also learn about the impacts of removal on youth, families, and child-serving systems. The training will also cover collaborative strategies, resources, and interventions available in Anderson, Greenville, and Spartanburg Counties. |
