Training NameGAL and CASA Training: Infant Mental Health and Safe Baby Courts in South Carolina
Training DescriptionThis training, offered exclusively for current guardians and attorneys with the Cass Elias McCarter Guardian ad Litem Program and Richland County CASA, will provide a primer on infant mental health, the services and programs offered by the South Carolina Infant Mental Health Association, and the state of the Safe Baby Court program and its sites in South Carolina. At the end of the training, a lived expert in the foster care system will share the importance of the volunteer’s role in the child welfare case.
