| Training Description | This training, offered exclusively for Indigent Defense Contract Attorneys who represent parents and caregivers in child protection cases, will cover a range of issues parent attorneys encounter in the course of their court appointments including foster parent intervention, working with clients with limited English proficiency, representing youth receiving aftercare services, representing clients with disabilities, evidence and error preservation, and ethics. Attendees will learn practice tips and discuss the latest issues and challenges faced by Indigent Defense Contract Attorneys. |
